What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is an embedded (electronic) SIM-technology built right into your phone / device instead of a physical SIM card. This small chip in your esim device is used to authenticate your identity with your carrier. It′s not a physical SIM card, so you don′t have to worry about inserting it into your phone or swapping it with other SIMs.
When traveling foreign countries, you don’t have to go out to a shop to get a new SIM card or wait for one to arrive in the post – you can switch there and then.
You don’t have to swap to another carrier’s traditional SIM card and do not physically replace your SIM card.
You can switch to new carriers before arriving at foreign destination straight from your device just by scanning your new eSIM (QR-code by email) with your phone/tablet.
An illustrated manual in English is included by email.
